How We Price a Job:
Lancashire House Clearance price jobs by volume ie: The Amount of Stuff to clear. The amount of stuff will give us the cost of the job.
Surcharges:
Certain items can carry a surcharge. The most common items are, Mattresses, CRT Televisions, Fridges and Freezers Gas Bottles, Old Gloss Paints and Fluorescent light tubes.
Surcharges for Fridges are NOT added to the initial quote because they may not apply. If a fridge is sellable, we will not have to pay the disposal surcharge on it, therefore we will not need to apply the charge to your invoice. The same applies to sprung mattresses.
You will be informed of possible surcharges at and house clearance and rubbish removal quote
What we will not clear
We do not remove liquid waste. Soil, hardcore and aggregates must be in 25kg rubble sacks.
Asbestos should only be removed by a licensed contractor, We are not licensed to remove it.
Payment:
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the house clearance or junk clearance job.
Where we invoice for payment, it is due by the date or within the period shown on the invoice.
Late payment will incur an admin fee of £45.00.
All quotes are Plus VAT
Reduction For Items
The cost of a clearance may be reduced if there are any items we can sell.
When we quote we will look at any possible value in the contents and apply a reduction. If we do this and the item is removed from the property before we clear it, the reduction will be cancelled for that item.
If an item is found to be broken or damaged upon closer inspection when we are clearing the property, the reduction will be cancelled.
When we are clearing a property we may discover items that have a value but we have not allowed a reduction in cost at the time of quoting so, a further reduction will be applied .
