We are Clear This Ltd.Our company provides House Clearance and Commercial Property Clearance services in Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

How we work.

1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of rubbish removal, house clearance, and waste management services provided by Clear This Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to the customer ("you", "your"). By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Quotations and Pricing Estimates: Initial quotes provided online, via email, or over the phone are estimates based on the information provided by you. Final Price: The final price will be confirmed on-site prior to commencement of work, based on the actual volume, weight, labor required, and waste type, less any agreed reductions for items of value. Extra Charges: Additional charges apply for hazardous materials, heavy materials (e.g., soil, rubble), or difficult access unless explicitly included in the initial quote.

3. Item Valuation and Ownership Transfer Value Offsets: Where items located on the property are assessed by us as having potential commercial or resale value, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a reduction in the total service cost. Transfer of Ownership: Upon your acceptance of our final quote (including any applied value reductions), ownership of all items, contents, and materials within the agreed clearance area immediately transfers to Clear This Ltd. Surrender of Claims: Once ownership has transferred, you forfeit all rights, titles, and future claims to any items removed from the property, including any profits subsequently realized by us through resale or salvage. If the items make less than we allowed, that is down to us.
In order to sell items we have to photograph and describe the items for our online auctions. This has an additional cost to our business. Not all of the sale price is profit!

4. Bookings and Cancellations Time Slots: Arrival times provided are estimated windows. We will notify you of any unexpected delays. Cancellation Fee: You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled service window. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the estimated price.

Customer Responsibilities Access: You must provide clear, safe access to the premises and the items to be removed. Permits: You are responsible for securing any necessary parking permits or access approvals required for our vehicles to operate on-site. Personal Property: It is your sole responsibility to identify and remove all personal possessions, heirlooms, confidential documents, or valuable items you wish to retain before the clearance work begins. Authority: You confirm that you are the rightful owner of the items, or that you have full legal authorization from the owner to arrange clearance and transfer ownership.

6. Prohibited and Hazardous Items Unless agreed upon in advance in writing, we do not collect hazardous materials including, but not limited to: asbestos, gas canisters, toxic chemicals, clinical waste, batteries, or raw food waste. If prohibited items are discovered hidden within waste loads, we reserve the right to refuse collection or charge an additional handling and disposal fee.

7. Payment Terms Timing: Payment of the final invoice (reflecting any agreed item reductions) is due immediately upon completion of the work unless credit terms have been agreed upon in writing prior to service. Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash.

8. Waste Disposal and Recycling Clear This Ltd is a registered waste carrier. Items not resold or donated will be recycled or disposed of strictly at licensed waste transfer stations in compliance with local environmental regulations.

9. Limitation of Liability We carry full public liability insurance. However, Clear This Ltd is not liable for pre-existing damage to your property, or for the loss of any personal items left in the property that were cleared after the quote was accepted.
