How Our House Clearance Began
Our business began as a side hustle about 30 years ago. Our founder, Shaun was only working part time and saw the opportunity to earn some extra money with a large luton van. In those days the internet wasn’t really a thing.
Advertising meant being in the yellow pages etc so in order to feature at the top of the page, he chose the name Aardvark House Clearance!
This approach worked and the house clearance work steadily came in.

Today, we are a limited company trading as Clear This Ltd. The company founder Shaun has taken a back seat and handed the reigns over to Jennie.
Jennie leads the house clearance teams and will usually be your first point of contact with Clear This Ltd.
Nowadays we have a mixture of male and female staff and run just 3 large luton box vans. Are vans are deliberately unmarked as we don’t feel right doing a bereavement clearance and advertising outside the deceased’s property. It just doesn’t sit right with our ethos of respect and dignity.

We stand by our zero to landfill policy. Our company will find way to get as much as possible re-used. We achieve this by in-house sorting and separation. Selling through auction and donations.
Anything we cannot recycle here is taken to a materials recovery site for processing into different materials.
Meet Jennie, Our Owner / Manager / Director
Jennie is not your typical business owner and manager. Far from it, she’s very hands on with the business and likes to meet every customer personally.
Having one point of contact from quote to job completion make the process a little easier. This is especially true with bereavement and probate house clearance jobs.
Despite her diminutive stature, she is a real grafter and never stops once she starts a job.
