The first thing I will say here is we do NOT charge fly tip prices because we do not fly tip. Responsible customers know this and are prepared to pay the correct rate to have their rubbish safely and legally disposed of at a licensed waste transfer station.
If you are quoted a really cheap price for a house clearance and rubbish removals, then check everything out properly.

- Take a photo of the vehicle removing your waste. If its a car and trailer then they are probably going to your local tip where they can tip for free. This is fine if you are not paying them to take your junk but if you are paying them then its commercial waste and is illegal.

How do we recycle and Re-use So Much House Clearance Stuff
Several years ago Lancashire House Clearance formed an alliance with Taylor and Sconce specialist auction services in Chorley, Lancashire.
Taylor and Sconce operate two auction houses from their headquarters in Chorley. When we agreed to supply the auction with items from local house clearance and rubbish removals or office clearances our thoughts were on one or two clearances a week.
Our business kept on growing as our reputation for fairness and reliability spread. More and more house clearance items were put into auction including into charity auctions. Taylor and Sconce even put special timed online sales on so we could get as much stuff re-used as possible.
Even though we manage to put a lot into auction, we always had stuff that we could not sell or donate. This stuff has to be separated and sorted to achieve maximum recycling at minimum cost.
Wood and metal are separated, metal is sold for scrap and this generates a small income which is used to keep our costs down. Wood is taken to a recycling facility and disposed of at a reduced cost.
Mattresses are charged extra at the recycling centres we use, one of the sites charges us £25 plus VAT. Our team looked for alternatives to this and after a bit of local research we were pointed in the direction of a Darwen company called Remat. Here we are charged a fraction of the cost at the recycling centre. This enables us to keep the cost lower for our customers and ensures even more recycling From our house clearance and rubbish removals.
