Lancashire County Council Safe Trader Scheme
Lancashire Trading Standards operate the Safe Trader Scheme.
The idea was to give customers some protection and reassurance that they are dealing with reputable traders.
In order to join the scheme, business’s must demonstrate that they have all relevant licenses and insurances. They must also abide by the trading standards as set out on the scheme.
In the event of any disputes that cannot be resolved between the company and the customer, Trading Standards will step in and make a decision which the company must abide by.
Lancashire House Clearance believe this is a good thing as there are so many rogue traders out there.
Local House Clearance Company
Lancashire House Clearance only serve a 40 mile radius of our headquarters in Chorley, Lancashire. This gives us a service area covering the majority of Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
Once you contact us, we will arrange a convenient time to come and give you a quote. This visit is free and you are under no obligation to use our services.
Every house clearance job is different. Lancashire House Clearance price jobs by the amount of stuff to be cleared initially. We then look at what we can re-use, sell on through auction or recycle.
Any items we think may have a re-sale value will have a price given to them. This value will be deducted from the cost of the clearance. This means you will pay less.
Some customers try to get rid of smaller items themselves as they believe this will reduce the cost of a house clearance. This is not always the case. In our experience, the majority of the value in any property is in the volume of smaller items. So call us in first and get our opinion on what is the best option.
